  American Dance Training Camp aka ADTC is the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp for girls 8 - 17 near Chicago in Lake Forest - Session 1: 6/14 – 6/20 Session 2: 6/21 – 6/27

     Whether you're brand new to dance or a seasoned competitor, we want you to have fun and grow as a dancer and a person. We've successfully empowered thousands of girls around the world for 17 years with ADTC dance camps. We hope you'll join us for dance, adventure, new friends & fun this summer. At ADTC in IL, you'll take 4 - 5 dance classes per-day, Mon through Fri. Classes are taught by our professional choreographers. The core dance disciplines you'll take are contemporary, hip hop and jazz (styles vary and may include Bwy or lyrical). Elective dance classes include ballet, tap & world dance. At ADTC "ULTIMATE Chicago Lake Shore" in Illinois, campers and staff live together in a traditional residence hall. Each room is single occupancy (no roommate), but rooms are part of a "suite" where two bedrooms share one bathroom, so campers will be able to walk through their bathroom to the adjoining bedroom of their roommate. Hallway blocks are organized by age and ADTC's staff is housed in suites on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support.   The Drama Spot is a new kind of theatre class where kids of all experience levels are encouraged to be bold, creative, and totally themselves. We don't focus on performances - we use theatre as a tool to build core skills in a fun, no-pressure environment. Our summer session kicks off in May with weekly classes, and June brings exciting options like Musical Theatre and Improv Boot Camps.
